(AUDIO – 43 minutes) In this episode, hosts Haley Moss and Dr. Lori Butts welcome autism educator, consultant, and DIR/Floortime provider Jennie Trocchio, Ph.D.. Dr. Jennie is an autism educator, DIR/Floortime provider, and consultant with extensive experience supporting, evaluating, and creating programs for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. In 2008, she launched Florida’s first developmentally based school where her roles included Director of Education and President of the Board. In 2014, Dr. Jennie founded Autism Education and Development Solutions to address and meet the needs in the local autism community of South Florida.  She works individually with families – using both DIR/Floortime and the PLAY Project, consults with schools, creates meaningful social opportunities for individuals with autism and their families, and teaches autism courses at both Barry and Lynn University.
